M., 28.09.2022 - Haltermann Carless, a company of HCS Group and a leading international supplier of solutions for high-value hydrocarbon specialties, is pleased to announce that it has retained its Gold status with EcoVadis, the Corporate Social Responsibility agency, for the third consecutive year.

Substantial investments in sustainability
In recent years, Haltermann Carless has invested substantially in sustainability forming a dedicated Sustainability expert team, expanding technical services and development resources driving growth of its sustainable portfolio. The investment into a state-of-the-art hydrogenation facility allows the processing of a wide range of renewable raw materials. The company has changed to certified renewable power and achieved ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certification (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).

EcoVadis is specialised in assessing the sustainability performance of companies. Annually, the rating agency examines around 90,000 suppliers from 160 countries and 200 purchasing categories. The methodology is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000 covering the four main areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
