Interview-Expert: Dr. Thorsten Ackmann

Dr Thorsten Ackmann has been leading Haltermann Carless production site in Speyer since 2023. Holding a PhD in chemical engineering, he brings many years of experience in production, plant commissioning, engineering and project management. His professional career previously included positions at companies such as Areva GmbH and August Storck KG. In his role as Site Manager, Dr Ackmann is committed to ensuring that production processes are efficient, reliable and safe. At the same time, he actively drives the further development of the site, with a clear focus on innovation, sustainable value creation and strengthening local teams. In doing so, he is actively and responsibly shaping the future of the Speyer plant.
