HCS Group announces Peter Friesenhahn as new CEO

HCS Group announces changes in the management board: Peter Friesenhahn will assume role of CEO as of January 1 2024 succeeding interim CEO and CFO Peter Stubbe.

Frankfurt a. M. Germany, 13.12.2023 HCS Group, a company of International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) and holding company of Haltermann Carless, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Friesenhahn as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1 2024.

Friesenhahn is joining HCS Group from Evonik, where he served 12 years in different executive positions, most recently as General Manager Business Line Silanes. Prior to Evonik, Friesenhahn served 20 years in various management functions at Bayer in Germany and abroad.

Friesenhahn succeeds Peter Stubbe, who accepted to take on the CEO role since September 2023 on an interim basis in addition to his CFO function. Stubbe is leaving HCS Group at his own request on 31 January 2024 after more than 11 successful years as CFO, having made a significant and lasting contribution to the Group's development.
