M., Germany, May 4 2021 – HCS Group, a leading international supplier of solutions for high-value hydrocarbon specialties and holding company of Haltermann Carless, announced today that it has been again awarded Gold status by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agency EcoVadis. The company enhanced its’ previous performance and scored 68 out of 100 possible points, which places HCS Group in the top five percent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is specialised in assessing the sustainability performance of companies. The methodology is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000 covering the four main areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Annually, EcoVadis examines around 75,000 suppliers from 160 countries and 200 purchasing categories.
