Leading and shaping a global team focussing on corporate development, sustainability and operational excellence
Corporate development includes responsibility for corporate planning (SMP cycle, market intelligence), establishment and further development of strategic alliances along the value chains of the HCS Group's value chains and corporate portfolio management
Coordination and support of the product innovation and decarbonisation pipeline
Promoting the methods and mindset of Commercial & Innovation Excellence
As part of M&A activities, the Corporate Development team supports Corporate Portfolio Management in the development of a target pipeline, potential due diligence and integration initiatives and facilitates corporate restructuring measures in line with Group objectives
Focus on ESG compliance and drive the development, implementation and communication of sustainability strategies
Your requirements:
Degree in economics (with a focus on marketing or finance) and/or science or engineering with relevant work experience, preferably with an MBA degree
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the areas of corporate development, strategic marketing, strategy or management consulting
Experience in the B2B sector, ideally in speciality chemicals or petrochemicals;
Proven track record of delivering projects and initiatives
Problem solving and analytical skills as well as strong coaching skills
Experience in leading teams
Strong team player, able to work closely with senior management, cross-functional leaders and value chain partners
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German would be an advantage)
Experience in the area of sustainability strategy / ESG is desirable
